The next versions of the Axor II are produced in Brazil: highway series with payload of 19-26 tons (models 1933, 2035, 2040, 2044, 2533, 2540, 2544, 2640, 2644) and off-road series with payload of 33-41 tons (models 3340, 3344, 4140, 4144). The highway trucks are equipped with 6 cylinder turbocharged diesel engine OM926LA with an output of 326 hp or OM427LA develops 354, 401 or 428 hp. All engines meet environmental standards Euro III. Transmission is 16-speed manual or 8-speed automatic. Brazilian Axor could be equipped with 4 types of cabins from the Atego model - a short daycab, daycab with shifted back rear wall, cabin with a sleeping compartment with low and high roof.
