Mack » CF

In 1967, the new fire chassis CF came to replace the old chassis C. The trucks were equipped with diesel engines Maxydyne. The standard equipment was synchronized mechanical transmission, but as the option was available automatic transmission. The standard base of the vehicle was 4216 mm, but there were other sizes available as an option. Particular attention was paid to security of the cabin. The back of the cab could be taken off to access to the engine. The CF range consisted of 10 modifications from CF608F to CF797F. Until 1990, 3854 chassis were produced. It was the most popular Mack's fire chassis.
