Tatra » Phoenix Euro 6

In April 2018, Tatra launches the Phoenix of a new generation. Despite the fact that the new Phoenix is similar in appearance to the previous generation, it can be recognized by a different color scheme: the body color with the matte and gloss black cabin front grille sections. The real changes are underneath the surface.

Thanks to the compact dimensions of the new emissions control technology, which combines th DPF filter, SCR system and the catalytic converter, payload has been increased without increasing the total weight. The new engines MX-11 and MX-13 meet Euro 6c environmental standards. They are also more powerful, quieter and more efficient than the engines of the previous generation. The maximum torque is achieved in the 900 rpm, and the power is increased by 10 and 19 hp for MX-11 and MX-13, respectively.

The cabin has a more efficient soundproofing and a new interior colour scheme. Most of the controls and switches are new, as well as the display behind the steering-wheel. Electronics has undergone major changes and is now combined with LIN and CAN technologies.

The modified chassis will allow you to install a 10-ton front axle, lifting or steered rear axles (for 10x10 versions). For an additional charge, disc brakes can be installed to the front. In addition to the standard manual 16-speed transmission, customers will be able to order the automatic transmission TraXon, which came to replace the AS-Tronic.
