DFAC » Captain K6 (凯普特 K6)

At the end of 2016, DFAC began producing of Captain K6 (凯普特 K6). The truck with a GVW from 4 to 8.3 tonnes are similar to Dorica D6 (多利卡D6). Customers can choose between 3 variants of the cabin: model M, L or N. DFAC Captain K6-M is fitted with the most simple and closest cabin (the same is used for the K5). The L-cab is similar to the cabin used for D6-L but features original front end design. Design of the N-cab is similar to Nissan cabover trucks.

The number '6' in the index K6 means the maximum length of the truck can be 6 meters. There are several engine options: Dongfeng ZD30 (2.95 liters, 140-150 hp), Dongfeng D28 (2.77 liters, 115 hp), Foton Cummins ISF3.8 (3.76 liters, 141 hp), Yuchai YC4 (2.98 liters, 130-140 hp). The gearbox is manual 5- or 6-speed. The standard equipment includes ABS and power steering. Top speed is 99-110 kph depending on the engine choice.
