There was one more articulated truck in the Ag-Chem range of the end 80s - the Terra-Gator 004. Unfortunately, it was not so popular as the Terra-Gator 2204. Both models were very similar. Probably, Terra-Gator 004 was lighter than the Terra-Gator 2204, but was used for the same functions. These trucks had a different cab and a short hood. Terra-Gator 004 was equipped with a Cummins 6CTA (6-cylinder in-line, 8.3-liter, turbocharged, 240 hp at 2400 rpm) or Cummins V8 504 diesel engine. Transmission is JD Funk 2000 with 6 speeds forward and 3 reverse. Drive axles are John Deer 1400.
