Mack » DM

In 1968, for the U.S. Air Force, Mack Trucks started production of the batch of tractors DM6116S (6x6) with the 180-horsepower diesel engine END6, 18-speed transmission and all the single wheels. Later, the 210-horspower chassis DM492S (6x6) was added to the range with automatic Allison transmission. Special fuel equipment was mounted on this chassis. Later other military modifications on the chassis of civilian DM models were released, and DM800 too.
