The 35,000-pound Gross Vehicle Weight gasoline-powered Autocar C-75T debuted in 1948. The C-75T was equipped with a Con R6572 engine and featured a setback front axle, large tires (11,00 x 22 inch), a low hood and curved front bumper. An odd number was added to the model designation to identify setback front axle models. Introduced in 1949, the DC-75T offered 150-horsepower Cummins Diesel HB-600 as original equipment. A 200-horsepower supercharged Cummins Diesel HBS-600 was an option. Another set back front axle models were added in 1948 - the lightest C-45 and C-45T, and the heaviest C-95T. The first was offered with Autocar Blue Streak 377 engine, while the second - with Con R6602. 3 axle model DC7562 was also available with 6x2 wheel configuration.

I love this car so much ! <3 <3

Austin » K9

I used to drive a K9 for the British Medical Team in Saigon in 1968. I believe it was flown up from Malaya for the use of the Team, and it was white with a big red cross on the sides. It was also excellent in 4 wheel drive, as it was used to travel to Vung Tau and back, on a road with very deep bomb craters. Personally, I would trust it to take me anywhere.

Ahrens-Fox » E / V / W / Y series 2

We are the proud owners of this treasured fire engine. Serial # WR 8013 was purchased by Ashland, WI in the summer of 1936 and owned by the City until February 28, 1975 when we purchased it. We used the rig for parades and musters until 1978 when she was taken to Ken Soderbeck's "Hand in Hand Fire Company" for restoration. Under Ken's magical touch, the "FOX" turned out to be a winner in restoration, appearance, and pumping. As a native of Ashland I was allowed to sit in the driver's seat in the 1950's and wish for the day it would be mine. Our family name is the Five Belle Fire Engine Company and we have a female Ahrens-Fox. We also own Ashland's former 1940 Diamond T Darley Pumper. TM
