Austin » J2 / 152

Launched in 1956, the 152 / J2 range was a 15cwt goods vehicle with unitary construction and a 1498cc B-series engine. In 1961 the larger 1622cc B-series engine was given. It was also a Diesel option of 1498 cc in 1961. This vehicle was sold under the J2 label, but also as the 152 Omni Series. It was the first unitary-construction van to be produced by BMC and was available as a Austin or Morris, the only difference was the badge and the radiator grill. It was available in four versions, Van, Pick-up, Minibus and as a Chassis Cab. They were produced at Nuffield Metal Products in Birmingham.
