In 2001, a concept truck TG-X was presented. Despite to not shocking exterior, looks like mass TG-A, its construction includes a lot of revolutionary solutions. Rear wheels have single ultra-wide tires "Super Single" (or "SuSi"). Its dimension is 495/45 R22.5. In addition, new tires are equipped with a control system that monitors the pressure in it and, if necessary, sends an alarming signal to driver. According to the designers’ information, the truck tractor, equipped with such tires, has better controllability and consumes less fuel. Another feature that immediately catches the eye is the original rear suspension with a central X-shaped lever, designed by ZF. This construction allows to remove a stabilizer bar. The truck is fully packed with advanced electronic systems. ESP, ACC system with two radars monitoring the distance, Lane Guard camera, air-conditioning, working with the turned off engine, telematics system, combines GSM mobile communication and GPS navigation.
