At the beginning of 2008, UralAZ started the production of Ural 63674 4x2 tractors. It is designed to work in combinations with a GCVW up to 42 tonnes with a load on the coupling device type SK-S 36.20 (Georg Fisher) up to 10,500 kg.

The tractor is equipped with a 220 kW (300 hp) diesel engine YMZ-7601 which meets the Euro 2 environmental standards. It is paired with a nine-speed manual gearbox YMZ-239. This combination allows reaching top speed of 100 kph and overcome rises of at least 25% with full load.

The cab is made under license from the Italian company IVECO. Early versions have different design of the front end. The grille of early versions has two slots instead of one in the later models, and the bumper consisted of two tiers: the headlights are located on the top, while two pairs of rectangular fog lamps are on the bottom. Ural 63674 was offered with a sleeping compartment only.

In 2014, the updated range Ural-M came to replace Ural 63674.
