In order to determine the parameters and design solutions of amphibious vehicles in April 9, 1956, a prototype ZIS-E134 model №2 was built. It differed from its predecessor by a special body, lack of flexible wheel suspension, a jet with a rotary nozzle. Some of the jet details were taken from PT-76 tank. The engine, transmission and control system did not differ from ZIS-E134 model №1.
