A 7-ton floating version Ural-53221 (5322P) was made in 1978 on the chassis of Ural-5322 truck. On the water this truck could be used without additional floats and moved by propellers and rotating of all wheels. Two propellers are located under the rear of the flatbed platform and receive torque from a tranfer gearbox. In general, 4-axle Ural-53221 was identical to a 3-axle version Ural-43221A. Wheelbase - 1400 + 2750 + 1400 mm. Maximum speed - 80 kph. Range - 750 km. Fuel consumption - 40 l/100 km. Engine - diesel YaMZ-741 V10 260 hp and 765 Nm. Transmission - 5-speed manual with a 2-speed transfer gearbox.
