Kenworth » CSE
In 1955, shortly after the releasing of the CBE model the company launched a new versions of series 500 with the cab over the engine, which replaced the popular "BullNose" (these reliable machines were permanently removed from production only in 1956), which prevailed on the roads of the United States in previous years. Kenworth called this model CSE (Cab-Surrounding-Engine). The cab was a monocab (as in subsequent models K100), but did not tilt. There was a version with sleeper compartment. These trucks stayed on the line just for two years, after which they were replaced by a new model.
