Daewoo » 2848 1st generation

nder the license from Japanese company Isuzu, the Daewoo in 1982 began producing in Korea the model with code name 2848 or Superpower (a copy of the Isuzu V-series). Series did not have its own name (like many Korean trucks at that time), while the code 2848 refers only to the index of the engine. Prior to the production model 2848, Daewoo produced a similar truck of joint venture GM-SMC, which had the same cabin. 2848 of the first generation was an exact copy of Japan truck, but had a local V8 engine instead of licensed MAN V10.
