The Victor VT bus range was completed with the addition of two chassis for pantechnicon work or for carrying other loads of a light and bulky nature. They were designated the VT19N and the VT19N(HD), and had wheelbases of 15 feet 6 inches, 2 feet longer than the longest Chieftain. HD stood for heavy duty, which means a larger frame section, heavier tyres and a payload of 6.6 tons. The new LAD cab was not standard equipment on the VT range, so these chassis were often equipped with different aftermarket cabs.
