AEC » Monarch ( model 647 / 648 )

Modified in 1933 the model Monarch had the index 647 and had a payload increased to 7,5 tons. The trucks were equipped with a 4-cylinder diesel engine 5.1 liters and 85 horsepower (Model 647) or 4-cylinder petrol engines of the same volume with output of 80 hp (Model 648). In 1935, this series were replaced by a second generation of Monarch - model MkII.
