Foton Auman ETX is one of the most popular trucks in China. Its production started in April 2007. During production period the Auman ETX had been updated several times. In 2008-09, it began to be equipped with Weichai diesel engines, and later — Cummins. Despite this, their appearance remained unchanged. In February 2018, Foton finally decided to update the exterior and interior of its most popular model.

The front end design was updated to the style of the flagship Auman EST. The headlights became horizontal and tapered, while the grill has only three horizontal elements. The doors received new handles, which will be cleaner in bad weather conditions.

Updates also touched the interior: the Auman ETX 2018 received a new dashboard and door panels. The working area and rest area were divided by colors: the dashboard and doors are black, while the upper part of the cabin and the sleeping compartment are light. The designers increased the width of the bed in the sleeping compartment.

Technically, the Foton Auman ETX 2018 has no different from the latest pre-styling versions. It is fitted with Cummins X12 engines and various manual gearboxes.
