Ural unveiled the updated MRAP 'Federal-M' at the ARMY-2017 military show. The armored truck has been tested for several years, but this version got an updated exterior design. It was developed to transport a personal crew in military zones.

Armoring is made using special technology of volume-differentiated armored capsules for a van hull with 4 or 6 doors. The hull has several hatches, some of them to mount weapons. The armored body is equipped with anti-traumatic armchairs, anti-rattles and anti-fragmentation protection. The fuel tanks are protected from splashing fuel during blasting.

The 'Federal-M' based on a serial 6x6 chassis Ural 4320. Engine — inline 6-cylinder with an output of 270 hp. Gearbox — YAMZ 11055, manual. Overall dimensions — 8500x2500x3100 mm. Curb weight — 17600 kg. Payload — 3000 kg. Range — 1100 km.
