MAZ-537R with a PTO gear and special trailer TT-2 was used as a part of a pipes hauler PV-481, which was designed for transportation of pipes to build oil and gas pipelines. It was produced in small quantities since 1970. It could carry up to 50 tonnes of cargo and work in difficult road conditions.
