Volvo Trucks Brazil presented the 4th generation of heavy duty trucks VM. The new range will include 4x2, 6x2, 6x4, 8x2 and 8x4 chassis. A new generation of trucks will retain the same cabin, but its design has been significantly redesigned and is now designed in a style of European models FM and FH. The feature of the new design is a huge grille of unpainted plastic. Redesigned headlights of road versions have LED running lights sections in the form of the letter "V". The lower plastic panels are also new. But the interior of the truck remained almost the same - the changes are cosmetic.

There is a choice of 2 engines available for the new VM - 270 or 330 hp. Transmission is 6, 9, 10 or 12-speed i-Shift. The new for the 4th generation of trucks are two new 4-axis version. There were only three-axle trucks before. New construction chassis can be ordered with the wheel configuration 8x2 and 8x4. GVW can reach 29 tons.
