Californian start-up Thor Trucks has developed the ET-One, a purely electric-powered truck that targets the Tesla Semi. Because the small team can not develop everything themselves, the choice of a base fell on a conventional truck chassis from the Navistar Group.
The power of the electric motor is between 300 and 700 hp depending on the configuration, the range is 480 km. By 2018, the first ready-to-drive prototypes will be ready for test drives. From 2019, the Thor ET-One should then go into production.
