In the mid 30's the production of a new heavy family was began, which included 2- and 3-axis models "L6500", "L8500", and 17-ton "L10000" (6x4) with a wheelbase of 5,750 mm and all single tires. The heaviest model was equipped with 6-cylinder 150 hp diesel engines "OM54" or "OM57" (11,2 and 12,5 l) and 4-speed manual transmission, had a weight of 7.5 tons and maximum speed of 75 km/h. On the basis of this family several special modifications have been made - dump truck "LK" and truck tractors "LZ" with a short base (3150-3650 mm).
