In 1994, in addition to the MR/MC series Mack started to produce the LE model with low entry cab specifically for refuse trucks. This design not only makes enter-exit process much easier, but also allows using front-loading refuse bodies. Inside the cab the controls are duplicated on both sides - the driver does not have to think where to enter the cab.
