In 2016, a new Aochi D5 6x2 twin-steer chassis was added to the D-series model range. Payload is 9.9 tonnes. Overall dimensions - 8760x2450x2650 mm. The cabin of Aochi D5 is the same that uses by lighter Aochi D3. It is fitted so high, that engineers put a safety bar under the front bumper. 130 hp Yuchai 4108 EFI diesel is the standard equipment. 160 hp version of this engine and 154 hp Cummins ISF is an option. Gearbox - 8-speed manual FAST.
