2700 ATi

(1987 - 1995)

In 1987, the lineup of DAF was added by lightweight models 1700 and 1900, which came to replace F1600 and F1800. They used the same cab as the predecessors but had a new design of front mask in a style of the latest model DAF 95. In 1990 medium-duty models 2100 and 2300 were also updated with the same style and received new engines rated at 210 horsepower and 220, respectively. The same year new model 2700 ATi (Advanced Turbo Interceding) came to replace 2500. It received an engine with the second generation of intercooling system which helped to raise power up to 272 hp.
