November 28, 2008 the production of a new model Tampa has been started. This model was developed by engineers of new joint company SAIC-IVECO YONGYAN Commercial Vehicle Investment Co., Ltd. The trucks have a modern streamlined design of the cab. Tampa trucks meet European safety standards ECE R29 and successfully passed crash tests. The trucks are offered as a tipper, chassis, flatbed truck or tractor truck. Tampa is equipped with local made engines WP10 with an output of 290, 310, 340, 375 hp, WD615 with an output of 262 and 330 hp or WD618 with an output of 420 hp. Transmissions are manual Fuller 9- or 12-speed. Cabins of Tampa trucks can be with low or high roof.
