Fiat Doblo will be selling in UK under Vauxhall brand name

The new Vauxhall Combo panel van has been revealed for the UK market is actually a Fiat Doblo and comes as a result of a new partnership forged between GM Europe and Fiat Group. It will also be sold in the US under Chrysler’s Ram brand name. The van will be sold in two wheelbases, two heights, two gross vehicle weights (2,000kg and 2,300kg) two trim levels and with four engine choices. The engine range for the Vauxhall version includes a 1.3-liter CDTi and a 1.6-liter CDTi, both offering 90 hp. The higher output version of the 1.6L has 105 hp and the range-topper is a 2.0-liter CDTi with 135 hp. The 1.6 CDTi will be offered with a six-speed manual or a Tecshift automated manual, while the 1.3 CDTi only comes with a five-speed manual. Prices will start at £14,703 (about USD23,600), with standard equipment coming in the form of emote central door locking, full-steel bulkhead, trip computer, electric power steering, driver’s airbag, ABS with EBD, CD/radio and a 12 volt power outlet in the dashboard.
