VIS-Auto will launch production of Lada Kalina based pickup

"VIS-AUTO" from Tolyatti, Russia has long time experience in the production of commercial versions of Lada cars. Now it is testing a new pickup based on the Lada Kalina, which will receive the brand name VIS-234900 and should change the old "Samara" based pickups. VIS-234900 has a front-wheel drive and powered by a 1.6 liter gasoline engine in conjunction with a manual transmission. The capacity of truck is 720 kg. The car also will feature large mirrors, leaf springs under the body and unpainted black front bumper. Estimated price of a new pickup on a local market will be about 335 thousand rubles (USD 10,800 only).
