Model R800SX designed to work in particularly difficult conditions. Fields of work are oil fields, coal mine, transportation of heavy loads. The range R800SX included:
R811 RSX - Mack ENDT673C turbocharger, 250 hp
R885 RSX - Maxidyne 6, 237 hp
R895 RSX - Maxidyne V8, 325 hp
R897 RSX - Mack Thermodyne, 375 hp
Mack built Transmissions have 5, 6, 10, 12 or 18 speeds. Total gross weight could reach 45 tons. In 1973 three R897 RSX 8x4 were built for Goldworthy mining operation in Shay Gap.
