Mack » WS / WL Cruise-Liner

In 1975, after presentation of F and FL ranges, a new cabover truck tractor Cruise-Liner was showed. It could be equipped with one of the 31 engines from 6-cylinder Mack Maxidyne ENDT-675 (235-237 hp) to Detroit Diesel V8 ( 525 hp), including a new version of Mack Maxidyne ENDT-866 (325 hp) engine. Cummins and Caterpillar engines also were available. Transmissions are Mack Maxitorque, Fuller, Allison, and Spicer. The trucks could be equipped with a day type cabin with BBC=54', cabin with a short sleeper compartment - BBC=76' and cabin with a long sleeper compartment - BBC=90'. The trucks offers a wide range of paints and optional chrome accessories. Totally, 1627 trucks of WL series and 13726 trucks of WS series were made.
