“Chenglong H7”, a new strategic heavy platform product of Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor Co., Ltd. (DFLZ) was officially unveiled at the Shanghai 2015 show. With an IOV (Internet of Vehicle) Service System “Chenglong V+”, “Chenglong H7” is known as an “Internet Truck”, which will be in the market at the end of this year.

The keel frame driving cabin adopts WEBCO safety braking system, TMPS tyre pressure monitoring system, anti collision warning system etc many active and passive safety technology. The brand new chassis adopts European technology, and the warranty for the engine is for 100,000km and the suspension, wheel and battery don’t need to be maintain.

Cummins ISL, ISG, ISZ series engines and Yuchai 6L, 6MK and 6K series engines are available for H7 with horsepower from 270-460 ps. For the name, we are told that Chenglong is commercial vehicles for Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor, and H represents heavy-duty platform, and 7 is the number for current model. Products include the tractor series and the heavy-duty truck series. It is learned that the dead weight of “Chenglong H7” is only 7.6 tons, which is the lightest in the automobile industry.
