General Dynamics presents new Eagle V for EU

General Dynamics European Land Systems presents an armored vehicle with 4x4 wheel configuration, which called EAGLE V. It is a further development of the EAGLE IV, which is already in service . EAGLE V has a higher load capacity and increased crew protection while maintaining an extremely high tactical mobility . GDELS recently signed a contract with the German army for the supply of 100 units of EAGLE V. To meet the increasing demands of mobility, protection and payload, General Dynamics European Land Systems offers a family of vehicles EAGLE, including the option of 4x4 and 6x6.

Due to the higher capacity, EAGLE V could carry more equipment on board or it can be equipped with a harder protection, depending on customer requirements. This highly mobile vehicle with a crew of up to 5 soldiers offers superior protection against ballistic damaging factors, mines and improvised explosive devices (IEDs). Components of the vehicle are interchangeable with the tactical truck DURO, which provides a cost-effective logistic truck.

Greetings , I am looking to purchase a late 60's or early 70's Austin/Morris/Leyland/BMC normal control truck rated at 3 ton or under. Flat bed or tipper is fine and good money available for the right vehicle. I am Sydney based but happy to travel Australia wide. Also if Ian Kinross checks out ebay he will find a sales brochure for the Austin 129N with full specs. It is certainly late 60's or early 70's and running the 2.2 litre 4 pot. Regards , Moe Herbert.
